Football stars within reach

The aim of the Football Stars Within Reach event was to offer not only the people of Brno, but everyone from the South Moravian Region, the opportunity to meet top footballers and well-known athletes and enjoy a unique day. The event took place on 7 June 2022 and was dedicated to families with children and the TJ Tatran Bohunice football club as part of a children's sports day with a rich accompanying programme.

During the event, football fans of all ages could meet top footballers, train with them, have them within reach and get advice from them on improving their playing skills. We also focused on the club's coaches, who, after the main training session, could play an exhibition match against well-known footballers and show their players that they really can play football.

The social significance of the event was also an important aspect. Famous names, parents and children, friends and partners of the club, as well as representatives of the city and the region came together.

We are very pleased that big football stars took part in the event, such as Jan Koller, Jan Polák, Marek Heinz, Tomáš Necid, Marek Suchý, Pavel Zavadil, Mario Holek, Marek Střeštík and Luboš Kalouda, as well as leading representatives of Brno City Hall, namely Mayor JUDr. Markéta Vaňková, First Deputy Mayor Mgr. Petr Hladík, Councillor for Sport Mgr. Jaroslav Suchý, Mayor of the Brno-Bohunice district Ing. Antonín Crha, and Vice-Chair of the National Sports Agency Ing. Markéta Kabourková.
