Children's Day with Zbrojovka and a match of football stars
In 2018 we organised the event Children's Day with Zbrojovka and a match of football stars, which was also the last match of Luboš Kalouda's career. According to the number of tickets issued, attendance was around 3,500 visitors, and the feedback from the general public and our friends was more than positive.
The Children's Day programme was provided by organisations focused on various sports and artistic activities, led by the general partner, the KROUŽKY school facility. The event also included a "Youth Tournament", held under the auspices of the Mayor of Brno, Ing. Petr Vokřál, and supported by the South Moravian Region under the auspices of Governor JUDr. Bohumil Šimek, who also attended in person. 28 teams with a total of 308 players registered for the tournament.
The event also included the launch of the book Dvě minuty Mistři světa ("World Champions for Two Minutes"), which tells the story of all the participants of the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.
The football match itself was truly star-studded. Luboš Kalouda's team, Kalouda's 11, played against Petr Švancara's team.

Before kick-off, the legendary ZBROJOVKA players who won the club's only Czechoslovak football championship title in 1978 were honoured.
Throughout the day, refreshments with a wide range of options were available to visitors, chosen to satisfy everyone. Most visitors, especially the parents of the tournament players, greatly appreciated this service, as it is not usually available at similar events.
Thanks to the financial support of our partners, we also fulfilled the charitable purpose of the whole event, with help going to the F. D. Roosevelt Secondary School for the Physically Disabled in Brno, the Chovánek Infant Care Home and Children's Home in Brno, the Children's Home in Strážnice and the Holásecká Home for the Elderly in Brno. We also did not forget to support the "Give Us a Chance" hospice for old, abused and disabled dogs.
After the tournament and the match of stars, a big autograph session continued until late in the evening, as there was a long queue of fans wanting signatures from all the football stars. A total of 61 business partners contributed to the success of the event, for which we thank them very much!
